If you're so happy, why are you looking for a piece of strange? Most don't even realize they're dating someone my age when they date me.. People react to "60" because in their minds they're thinking ED, weakness, fuddy duddy, pants up too high, no teeth etc. @Kruets: Does your wife know what you are doing up here? Older men seem to have some old school left in them and knows how to treat a lady with respect. When an older old school man treats a lady with respect they get the same treatment in return, at least thats what I do. I can understand that, I don't want a woman that looks my grandmother..
And I seriously doubt the wife would be happy if she knew. Anybody looking like you at 59 I would say has had an inordinately HARD life. Chances are that most have a 60 year old in their lives somewhere and they just assume that every other 60 year old looks and acts like the one they know. But at my age, a 45 year old woman is a much younger woman, so most don't see that as too young for me and it draws no attention at all. they can't even imagine someone arriving at 60 without these markers of age, so it's no surprise to me they react as they do to "60". Telling US you're 72 and happy in your marriage and then seeing your profile where you're lying about your age and looking for strange behind your dear loving wife's back... The very reason why this post was created was with the intention of finding out if OLDER men find it awkward dating young girls. You lied about your age (59) and here you tell the truth (you're really 72). I do have my limits tho, I dont want a man that looks like my grandfather. I understand these features being important to you. So, maybe its who you run into, but in general I like to think what you say is true.
you are in no position to make those kid of comments about someone you dont even know. give me the young guys as they are so much more knowledgeable in the pleasures of women ...... I know I resented people asking if my dad was my husband and then there were those that asked if my ex-husband was my dad.
To get a view into the male mind after 60, I sat down with dating coach, Lisa Copeland for a quick chat.
For women who have been trying to find that illusive “special someone” for a while, this may seem like an impossible question to answer.
After all, for most of our lives, men were simple creatures.
Now we can see how well the rule corresponds with people’s reported acceptable ages.
Men’s preferred minimum partner age: Let’s start with minimum age preferences reported by heterosexual men.
